This partnership project, with an overall budget of 56 million €, aims to develop integrated circuits and new generation equipment for 4G connected objects, including automobiles.
“FELIN: Future LTE equipment with Integrated Virtualization” is a 56 million € Competitiveness Structuring Research and Development Project (PSPC – Projet de recherche et développement structurant pour la compétitivité ). It is partly funded, 23 million euros, by Bpifrance as part of the Future Investment Program (Programme d’investissements d’avenir) that is managed by the General Commission for investment (CGI – Commissariat général à l’investissement). Started in November 2014, the project will last 36 months. It received the support of the Directorate General for Enterprise (Direction générale des entreprises) and that of the Systematic and Minalogic competitiveness clusters.
The IRT SystemX, through the ELA project (Electronics and Embedded Software), enables FELIN to be in connection with the French automobile industry (Renault, PSA Peugeot Citroën, Valeo, Continental, etc.).
