The Enhanced Traveller Information (IVA) project puts passengers at the centre of its research activities with a view to offering a range of services combining public and shared mobility solutions (carpooling, car-sharing, etc.) as well as information available on the region.
IVA is a four-year project launched in September 2017 which aims to optimise passengers’ mobility over the whole Paris Region multimodal transport network. More specifically, the IVA project will propose analysis, modelling and visualisation tools combining end-users and operators approaches to meet two scientific and technological objectives:
- Determine the status of the multimodal transport system in the short and medium term and develop an artificial intelligence-based mobility assistant;
- Understand and model travellers’ behaviours against traffic information in order to identify the most appropriate scenarios in case of disruption.
